Sold – Pizza.com for $2.6 million

GigaOm has this post mentioning that Chris Clark, who registered the domain Pizza.com 14 years ago, has turned $20 a year in renewal payments into millions of dollars.
Surprising that such a lot of emphasis is still paid to a .com domain. I wonder who bought it.

  1. I hope the investor has other businesses, it will take some time for the new owner to recoup the money.
