Styled as a ‘Cooperative Syndication Network’ that matches user contributions with their rewards – contributions in this case being the impressions they provide of the BlogRush Widget (like the one alongside) to the referral of other users through 10 ‘generations’ of activity and rewards being impressions of their own blog headlines on other blogs via the widget. Founder John Reese however hastens to add that BlogRush is not a “pyramid scheme.” Every single impression gets rewarded for ‘that’ impression as it happens, without any ‘promise’ of future rewards based on referral activity today. 1 out of 10 impressions goes to BlogRush to monetize for its own.
While exchanges like this are not new (think BloggerSwap or StumbleXchange), this uses RSS feeds, and hence stresses on promoting via content, making it the least intrusive, and also offers multiple ways to earn credits. Further BlogRush Flavours, also allows you to pick a skin for the widget to suit your blog.
