Redbus Launches Bus Ticketing On Your Mobile
After being the first to allow online bus ticketing, Redbus has partnered with ngpay to launch bus ticketing on the mobile. Users with GPRS could download the ngpay application that includes other service providers such as Makemytrip.com, IRCTC, Yatra.com, HDFC Bank, Fame cinemas, Air Deccan, etc. However, according to this process, users would need to register with ngpay based on which they would be given a 6 digit pin to allow further transactions.
“Mobile phone penetration in India is over 200 million and is growing at an unimaginable pace. Being present on customers’ mobile phones is an excellent medium in terms of offering convenience. We believe that the future of the internet is on the mobile. I am extremely excited and expectant of a great response from customers to take to this feature,” said redBus CEO, Phanindra Sama in this release.
