Here comes MeetNowLive, an innovative service, built for the mobile screen, that provides you the answers, that is, if you live in the New York City area – it allows you and your friends to broadcast where they are, as well as a listing of the available bars, their drink specials or events for the week. However, this comes with a twist –as the site claims:

First of all, you won’t find much on the web site.
Oh sure, we’ll have some account features and bar listings pretty soon, but it’s really for your mobile device.
Any mobile device… iPhone, Blackberry, Razr, Treos, etc. If it has internet access, you’re in business.
Users can browse the users list to see the party-goers at each bar, to decide which one they to go to. The incentive to get members to broadcast their location –drink coupons.
