Launched – Asylum’s Indian Avtaar
AOL has launched the US based international men’s lifestyle site, Asylum in its Indian avtaar Asylum.in, with part localized, and part syndicated content from the US edition.
Launched in the US in December 2007, Asylum is now simultaneously being launched in Australia, Italy and the UK, besides India, with plans to launch in more European countries by the year’s end.
The website caters to key lifestyle interests in a range of formats, including interactive features, editorial pieces, multimedia and video. Asylum’s blog-like structure provides readers with a constant flow of new editorial features, reader-submitted stories, user polls and robust commenting that will create an extremely active and engaged community.
