Posted on October 10th, 2007 by dhirender
In a first for Airlines in India, Kingfisher Airlines announced its first SMS-based ticketing service ‘flybuysms’ across all mobile networks in collaboration with wireless transactions company PayMate.
The service enables prospective customers to
search, book and pay for tickets on the mobile itself, and works on any handset model or operator.
“The simplicity of using SMS and the convenience of the mobile medium will make it a compelling ticketing channel in the near future …,” says PayMate managing director and founder Ajay Adiseshann. [Via]
