iFarm – Farming On Your iPhone
Given the runaway success of FarmVille on Facebook, it suprising, that Zynga which developed FarmVille has not released FarmVille on the iPhone as yet.
Now beating the rest, PlayMesh which had earlier released its iMafia game in January on the iPhone platform has launched iFarm for the iPhone, which, in less than 24 hours jumped into the top 25 ranks on the iPhone AppStore, claiming the position as the No. 1 farm game says VentureBeat.
Clearly, people want to tend farms wherever they are.
Apple, meanwhile, has enabled a virtual goods model by allowing purchases to be made inside apps now, which makes monetization easier.
Now to see how well farming replicates its web success on other platforms.
