Get WebPages In Your Inbox With Rediff WebInMail
Rediff.com has launched WebInMail, a new service that would fetch web pages for users to allow them to read online content in their Inbox. Targeted largely at people who’s office regulations do not allow them to access external websites, this is quite an interesting concept, which deserves to be watched.
To use the service, all ones need to do, is send an email to browse@webinmail.com with the URL of the webpage, which the user wants to access in the subject line, eg. www.wildblueskies.com
Rediff, in turn, would send the user a reply back with the webpage content to the user’s inbox.
The service also works for search terms. To search for a term on Google, the user would need to send google:query or googleimg:query for Google images, or rediff:query for searching on Rediff.
According to this blog post, Web-In-Mail would work on most email client, like MS Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc.
