DealTracker – Percept Group Raises Funding


Percept Ltd, a company with presence in advertising, media, film production and celebrity management, has landed Rs 60-65 crore funding from a host of private equity firms such as Indivision Capital, JPMorgan and Passport Capital, according to VC Circle.
While the stake sold is not known, this is the first round of institutional funding for the company which was founded in 1984 (a year otherwise remembered for Apple’s first Superbowl Ad) , and which employs over 1000 professionals across 3 continents, 22 cities and 64 offices.

    They recently finished their restructuring and rebranding to “Percept Limited”. They have some expansion plans in place.

    We hear, Percept has raised Private Equity worth US$ 20 Million through Edelweiss Capital Limited and Passport Capital LLC (a San Francisco based, global investment firm).
