DealTracker – Matrix Partners Invests in Kijiji India


eBay Inc. has sold an undisclosed stake in its Indian classified site Kijiji India to venture capital fund Matrix Partners India. A statement released today said that Matrix Partners India and eBay would jointly own Kijiji India. Kijiji is an online classifieds-style website “that allows local communities to meet, help one another and interact over shared interests”. Matrix India co-founder Avnish Bajaj was also the co-founder of Baazee.com, which later sold to eBay.
