With nearly 500 million users, Facebook ranks as one of the world’s most popular Web sites, giving the likes of Google and Yahoo! a run for their money. With estimated revenues of something around $700 – $800 million in 2009 they would be trailing them considerably.

The action in the online deals/ group buying website space really seems to be heating up. Jasper Infotech, which runs online deals/ discount coupons website Snapfish, has purchased Grabbon last week in a cash-cum-equity transaction. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
