Broadband Subscriber Base In India Grows To 4.38 Million


Total Broadband subscribers base has reached 4.38 million by the end of June 2008 as compared to 4.15 million by the end of May 2008, a growth of 5.5% according to Trai.
This also represents a growth of 74% over the subscribers numbering 2.52 million on June 2007.
Broadband is still described as speeds in excess of 256 Kbps, which in spite of discussions, has not been increased.
