BookMyShow Partners With Airtel

BookMyShow.com, has partnered with Bharti Airtel, to offer all Airtel subscribers across India direct access to BookMyShow.com on their mobile phones. There are three ways that Airtel subscribers would be able to book tickets via BookMyShow – a mobile application, Airtel’s wapsite at live.airtelworld.com, or tele-booking by calling 5432191.
I wonder why BookMyShow has not brought in a community element to the website, given the role that movies play in Indian culture – be it community ratings of movies, communities around movie genres, allowing people to plan a movie together, etc. – probably in.com will serve that purpose.
