Aviva runs ads on cellphones


logo_aviva.gifAviva, has partnered with Affle (a provider of mobile media innovations), to enable it to reach out and interact with cellphone users through advertisements.
Through this agreement, Aviva would be able to connect with the users of the SMS2.0 service, powered by Affle, and serve interactive advertisements. If a SMS2.0 user like a particular AVIVA product advertised, he could get connected to the ilogo_sms21.jpgnsurance company’s customer care division with a click. Instant gratification.
However, the subscriber would have to pay for the call.
Affle officials said the initial response to their campaign has been encouraging, with more than 4% users choosing to click on the interactive ads.
