Yahoo has bought a 30% stake in Info Network Management Company (INMAC), a company in Chennai in south India that specializes in telephone directory search. Yahoo did not disclose how much it paid for the stake in INMAC.

In Explorekaro.com, travel site Travelocity.co.in has launched a microsite aimed at engaging travellers and offers information about offbeat destinations in India and abroad. Junk email or spam accounts for as much as 200 billion messages daily, approximately 90% of email worldwide, according to a Cisco Annual Security Report.
The United States is the biggest source of spam, accounting for 17.2% of the messages. Turkey and Russia ranked second and third, accounting for 9.2% and 8% of spam respectively.

BookMyShow.com, has partnered with Bharti Airtel, to offer all Airtel subscribers across India direct access to BookMyShow.com on their mobile phones. There are three ways that Airtel subscribers would be able to book tickets via BookMyShow – a mobile application, Airtel’s wapsite at live.airtelworld.com, or tele-booking by calling 5432191.
