Launched - Cleartrip Videos With Over 1000 Videos
Cleartrip has launched Cleartrip Videos - a section containing about 1,000 travel videos covering 36 cities across India, which were submitted by amateur film makers during the Short Flicks Festival sponsored by Cleartrip last year. The videos are searchable by destination, popularity or tags.
As their blog claims:
One to three minutes long, these videos (un)cover everything from monuments and traditional sightseeing hubs to hidden facets of a city. So expect to see not only the Taj Mahal and the Gateway of India but also discover the oldest mithai shop in Delhi, find out where to get the best chhola-kulcha in Amritsar, watch monks play football in Darjeeling and see a temple dedicated to the god of mistakes in Baroda.
So far, I cannot see a place to upload any more videos, or any other community aspect apart from being able to comment on the videos (adding tags/ ratings for instance). Wonder what the plan for this is going forward.
