Google No. 1 Brand, Worth $86 Billion.


Based on primary research from WPP’s BrandZ, and other data from Bloomberg, Datamonitor, and Millward Brown Optimor’s own research, Google has once again topped the list as the the world’s number 1 brand, up 30% in brand value from $66 billion last year.
The rankings try to measure the intangible value of a brand using customer interviews, market data and financial information.
In the technology segment, Apple broke into the top ten for the first time, moving up 9 spots to rank at 7, one below IBM.
okia took the 9th position while Vodafone came in at 11. Hewlett-Packard came in at 16, followed by Cisco at 22 and Oracle and Intel at 26 and 27 respectively.
