Next Time You Want To Watch A Movie, Call Google

In an effort to reach out to users who do not have access to the Internet for queries, Google has launched its voice search service in India, that allows phone users to seek information on neighbourhood stories, movie timings and restaurants.
The fully automated voice search—using a voice algorithm the company has built locally—was unveiled last week as a pilot in Hyderabad, and will provide users information on business listings either through a voice response or SMS (short messaging service) on their mobiles. This service is free, with access through a toll-free number, and callers also have an option to be connected directly to the local business. [Via]
