Microsoft Launches Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions In India
Microsoft has announced the launch of its digital advertising platform in India, Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions, which will provide display, rich media, contextual and video advertising solutions, with NDTV Media as the exlcusive sales partner.
The overall digital advertising market in India is valued at nearly Rs 500 crore, and is growing at an annual rate of 60%. Its contribution to the total advertising market in India is just 1%, but Microsoft anticipates this contribution would go up to match the levels in developed countries like United Kingdom and the United States where it contributes 12% to the total advertising market.
It is already working with Facebook (social networking) in India, equitymaster (investing), HDFC Securities (investing) and Bollywood Hungama (entertainment). [Via]
