After Hotels, Now Book A Sarai Online
Recently launched Saraibooking.com gives information on location, contact numbers of the persons concerned, room tariff and the historical backgrounds of different gurdwaras with pictures, enabling travellers to pre-arrange their stay or plan their itinerary according to the availability of accommodation, founder Amritpal Singh told the Business Standard.
Considering that over one lakh visitors pay their obeisance everyday at Golden Temple, Amritsar, and the town does not have sufficient hotel infrastructure to accommodate outstation visitors, something like this would be very useful.
Yet another instance of how religion is making its way online, albeit indirectly. You already have online darshans, and online contributions, what can come next?
