One year after its launch, Desi Hits! has announced the successful completion of its second round of fundraising, which garnered a further $5 million from Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ), Trident Capital and the D.E. Shaw Group. With content spanning celebrity interviews, music videos, podcasts and blogs, Desi Hits! covers mainstream as well as bicultural news, music, interviews and lifestyle content with a global perspective since the next generation Desi wants it all and is currently forced to go to multiple vendors to get it.
