Recently launched UniGuru.com aims to guide Indian students looking for courses in higher education institutes abroad, with plans to launch a parallel site for domestic universities in India next year. Studyplaces are you listening?
UniGuru.com claims to offer peer-to-peer advice on over 100,000 courses at 808 institutes in UK, US, Singapore and Australia.
According to the site, UniGuru.com offerings include posts, complete with video diaries, etc. written by existing students about aspects of their lives and studies, with a number of useful tools, such as currency converters, etc.
Prospective students will be able to create their own profiles on UniGuru.com, add buddies, and interact with existing students to find out about the universities as well as details on the living requirements.
