Jitterbug - Getting Seniors Mobile
Posted on November 16th, 2007 by dhirender
My parents can never really get used to using a cellphone - either in dialing numbers, or in talking on the phone. Which is why Jitterbug is such a wonderful idea. That the $147 Jitterbug has sold more than 4,000 phones since it’s launch in 2006 goes to show that I am not the only one who thinks so.
Headed by Arlene Harris, Jitterbug specialises in phones that the older generation could use allowing them to take advantage of the technologies without the hassles, and in the bargain increasing the market.
With softer ear cushions and more powerful speakers, bigger, backlit buttons and brighter text, I can see my parents being more comfortable with using mobile phones.
