The New Business Today
Business Today has recently launched it’s updated avtaar. The much awaited ad supported version comes complete with blogs, Q&A’s, podcasts, widgets, slide shows, social bookmarking features (del.icio.us, Newsvine, Digg), RSS feeds, EMI calculators, etc. and is a vast improvement over the previous version. They even have an emagazine though I wonder how many people actually read the emagazines even though they seem to be proliferating. I guess it is in anticipation of ePaper becoming commercially viable.
The site itself has a huge amount of information, but they could wo with a better design. In terms of interactivity, there is still a huge scope - online debates for instance would fit in beautifully with this audience as well as a better way of presenting the Q&A .
Comments on articles should be made easier, and public. The interactivity element somehow does not come out very well. No doubt videos would soon follow.
Other features include a pretty extensive section on the financial and commodity markets with information and tools such as risk calculators, SIP calculators, charts, etc.
