That is what the GPS system MapmyIndia Navigator, recently unveiled by CE Systems which gave us MapmyIndia claims to do. The device uses satellites to determine the user’s current location, and comes pre-loaded with complete all India maps, covering 55,000 towns and villages connected by national and state highways.
While definitely needed in India, it would be interesting to hear reports on its operation.
