Get Berkeley University Courses On YouTube

Now, more than 300 hours of University of California, Berkeley, classes and events are available online for free at www.youtube.com/ucberkeley. The The videos include material on peace and conflict studies, bioengineering courses, and a science class titled “Physics for Future Presidents.” The university plans to continually add videos to the channel, which started with nine full courses consisting of approximately 40 lectures each.
While MIT has it’s own free online platform, and Berkley too started webcasts of its own in 2001 and audio podcasts in 2006, this is the first time that any university has used YouTube as a medium.
