With the time spent on content increasing from 34% to 47% over the past four years, it claims the lion share of internet time displacing communication (such as email) which dropped from 46% to 33%. Time spent on search increased by 35%, but at 5% of total time spent, it still remains small.

Livemint: Google has launched a pilot project in Hyderabad that allows individuals to post precise location details of restaurants and shopping centres online on Google maps. Individuals take photographs of the location, provide the coordinates and upload on an Internet site for the map.
