Google & Yahoo! Dominate The US Search scenario


Center for Media Research: According to a recent Hitwise report, 47 search engines in the Hitwise Search Engine Analysis Tool accounted for 1.86 percent of U.S. searches, while Google and Yahoo! captured 86% in April.

For the 4 weeks ending April 28, 2007, this is how the search engines compared on US Internet usage:
www.google.com 65.26%
search.yahoo.com 20.73%
search.msn.com 7.77%
www.ask.com 3.69%

Over the previous month’s data, Google’s share has increased, while MSN has come down further.
