Indian Government brings more services online
I recently got my Digital Certificate from MTNL Trustline. This now opens a plethora of services that the Government could put online - registering your company, filing of taxes, etc. I later came across this article in the Economic Times which talked about the move towards a paperless world. As this other article mentions, the mandatory filing of income-tax returns online for corporates would give more data for better decision making.
Of course, stories of the DGFT server being down for a few weeks without being rectified remain, but at least we are taking a step in the right direction.
